Our Band...

Riviera Concert Brass started in February 2005.   It was the brainchild of former members of the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary Band, which was unfortunately disbanded.
RCB is a friendly and inclusive band for people of all ages and standards.  We are a non-contesting band welcoming anyone, regardless of standard, into a friendly and fun filled atmosphere.
We are very lucky to have a productive and friendly relationship with Combe Pafford School in Torquay where we rehearse on alternate Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm.
Because we have such a wide and varied membership, we are able to provide a number of different services for our customers.  Please take some time to look at out services page.  Our current membership is around 40 strong and we work hard to provide the best quality of music and service for our members and for our clients.  Enjoyment and support is paramount in the band.
Like all bands, we are always happy to welcome new players, so if you fancy a blow or you are considering playing again after a long break, or if you just need a change from your current playing, please contact us. You can call our Musical Director (Mike Griffiths) on 01803 409181 or email him at: griffiths14@blueyonder.co.uk
If you are looking to start playing from scratch, whether young or older, please give us a call.  We have professionally qualified music teachers in the band who will gladly support and teach you about the best methods to play a brass instrument.
If you would like to book the band, you should contact our Musical Director On his email: griffiths14@blueyonder.co.uk
